Church on Sunday is our main gathering each week. Our church service is relatively informal, runs for 60-75 minutes, and routinely includes singing, prayer, a Bible reading(s), children’s spot, and a sermon. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion) every 6-7 weeks. Our music selection is a mixture of hymns, favourites, and contemporary songs, but we are not blessed with many musicians and so usually sing to backing music, with live music when we can.
We run a children’s program (Sprouts) for Prep-Year 6 children during the sermon each Sunday in school terms. During school holidays children's activity booklets are provided at the end of the children’s spot (about a third to half way through the service).
We have a creche room where parents / carers can nurse infants or supervise their younger children if they wish. The creche room is fitted with a one-way window and audio speaker so parents & carers can see and hear what’s going on in church. We provide a limited number of toys in the creche at present due to COVID requirements; these toys are cleaned each week. Parents & carers are more than welcome to bring toys for their children.
Our building is fully wheelchair accessible and has both ambulant toilets and a toilet for people with disabilities (PWD). There is also a baby change facility in the PWD toilet.
Morning tea is provided after church each Sunday. About once a term we also share lunch together.
